How to Welcome new rebels into your local group

✔ Here is the Welcome script: https://xrb.link/zg0b3U1Ej (key parts are: The CEE; Intro to NVDA; Demands; Ps & Vs; how to get involved.) If you don’t give full Welcome session, that’s ok, but where/how will rebels learn these other bits?

✔ How do you identify new rebels (on mailing lists, in zoom meetings, face-to-face meetings?) And how do you reach out to them? (Welcome email, welcome message on FB, greeters at the door?)

✔ Welcome session online or in person?

✔ Stand alone session, or as breakout from larger main meeting?

✔ Do you have printouts ready? (see following 3 slides plus P&V cards and Sign up sheets if brand new people attending ) or do you have all zoom details ready?

✔ WHAT ARE NEW REBELS’ NEXT STEPS?- This is the most important thing! What’s happening locally to engage them? What can they get involved with now?

✔ How will you follow up? Phone call (rebel ringers?), email, buddy, new rebels chat?
