Administration

  • Department chair is the leader of your department, but not your supervisor. Department chairs can mentor PT faculty along with helping review syllabi, recommend books and lead the outcomes assessment discussions.

  • Dean is the leader of a division. In most divisions, the Associate Dean supervises the PT faculty.
  • Manager, Student Conduct and Retention, Jill Childress, helps faculty with proactive strategies to assist with classroom management and will navigate any student conduct issues that emerge.
  • Administrative Assistant is your go-to person for any questions. They also coordinate payroll, scheduling, and often purchasing for your division or department.
  • Navigators guide students in class choices, college navigation, and problem solving.
  • Advisors assist students with career planning and confirmation as well as other issues that may be barriers to success.
