  • 1900 Germany allowed women to take jobs, no permission from husband required.
  • Except for the wages of the job, the husband still had full control of all assets of the women

  • 1894 Union of German Women’s Organization founded
  • 1902 this group supported a call for the right to vote
  • Group focused on, improving women's social conditions, education, ect.
  • Women in Germany gained the right to vote the year 1918 (Nov. 12)
