Information

Malin Fezehai is an Eritrean/Swedish photographer, filmmaker and visual reporter, based in New York. She is 33 years old, and attended the International Center of Photography, although she already had previous knowledge in photography before that. She has travelled to over 30 countries in the middle-east, Africa, Asia and America, her work focusing mostly on displacement of communities around the world.

“Malin was commissioned by the United Nations Development Programme to photograph survivors of violent extremism across Sub-Saharan African, and published a book titled “SURVIVORS” that sought to remind audiences about the growth of violent extremism and the devastating impact on the civilian population.“

She has also received a couple rewards for her photography over the years, and her client base is vast, including TIME, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and other mainstream news pages.
