STEP 3: SCULPTING YOUR FLOWERS

11 of 26

Select at least 6

pieces of tissue paper

Optional: draw patterns and designs on the tissue paper that represent your qualities.

12 of 26

Accordion fold your stack of papers, alternating back and forth

(about 1" wide)

13 of 26

Fold the paper back and forth like you are making a fan.

As you fold, alternate the direction of each fold. For example, if you folded the paper forward for the first fold, fold it backward for the next one, and so on. This alternating pattern creates the accordion effect.

Continue folding: Keep folding until you reach the end of the paper. Make sure each fold is crisp and even.

Wrap a pipe cleaner around the middle of your tissue paper and twist it around to secure it

Cut the edges of your tissues paper to create the shape of your petals
