  • This museum is related to the gold rush era and Seattle has a strong connection to that era.

  • Gold was found everywhere and the people who found the gold became very rich.

  • A steamboat arrived in Seattle from Dawson with more than a ton of gold.

  • Within six months approximately 100,000 gold seekers set off for the Yukon.

  • The trip to Yukon was very dangerous and only 30,000 completed the trip out of 100,000.
