So who is Mr Tomlinson?

• Have lived in Sacramento for 6 years, married to a lifelong resident of Portland, Oregon.
• 2 dogs, both are German Shepherd’s and are loving the time I spend with them during distance learning..
• Worked as an English Teacher in Sacramento for 3 years and then began teaching at Grange last year! I love every moment I have at Grange
• I am a huge college sports fan! I root for the Ducks and Tarheels as I have lived in both North Carolina and Oregon.

Attendance and Participation

To be marked present in class you must participate. If you do not participate and just sit there Google Meet, you will be marked absent and the District will call home the same day.

​

Every day we will read, write, listen, and speak (chat in some way). I am checking off names every day to ensure participation.

Everyday will include:

• Warm-up or a Do Now
• Class Reading of a Text from Springboard
• Springboard ELA 6
• Class Discussion
• Formative Assessments (60% of Grade)
• Summative Assessments (40% of Grade)
• Class Novel (Walk Two Moons)

Device Repair

If your student’s chromebook needs repair, call the Grange Office at 707-438-1900 and make an appointment to come by and get a replacement.

Food Distribution and other resources

• The district is providing a box of food for each child. They need a student ID number to receive the box.
• FREE to students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch (Otherwise $15 a box).
• Contact Office for more details.
