🐓 Critter Corner Needs YOU

More volunteers are needed to stop by to food & water �the animals because the main caretaker is out on �maternity leave. If you have received orientation,please sign up here to help. If you need orientation, �please contact info@seawellpta.com

The Critter Corner has been run by Seawell parents since 1992. Volunteers needed every day, 365 days per year�(no minimum or set commitments). The goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits would love to meet your family!

5th Grade Graduation Needs YOU

  • Graduation date is Wednesday, June 10th at 9am
  • Traditionally, 4th grade parents host graduation.
  • Need 4 volunteers responsible for:
    • Procuring refreshments (covered by PTA budget)
    • Putting up decorations
    • Manning the refreshments table

  • Math Olympiads is a math problem solving contest for elementary and middle school students
  • Seawell’s team was increased to 35 students compared to 25 in past years because of the high level of interest
  • Practice sessions focus on creative and collaborative problem solving
  • 5 contests throughout the school year test individual problem solving skills; Seawell’s team scored well above the national average on the first 2 in the fall!
  • Volunteer-driven: parents run sessions, provide snacks, etc.
