We had a splendid first week of December in 3R. We made the classroom feel a little more festive. We started taking home our Chromebooks daily, which comes with added the responsibility of charging them at home each night and keeping them safe. So far the students have done well with this new responsibility. In math we completed our last module on multiplication and division and we will keep memorizing the fact, but will start learning some different concepts in math. The students completed their creative writing stories for the Fine Arts Week Creative Writing Contest. They were given a Hershey's Kiss and had to turn the wrapper into an object and then write a creative story about it. We also did some creative writing for our lockers about elves and even turn ourselves into elves.

Dec. 17: 2nd Quarter Incentive (if eligible) to movie theater during the morning
Dec. 19: Christmas party 9:30-10:45 am

Dec. 20-Jan.5: Christmas Break
Please check out our Christmas Party Sign-up link on Class Dojo, if you would like to donate supplies or volunteer to help with the party. Please follow the direction on the Sign-up Genius and please do not send in anything extra to school with you child. It gets complicated and overwhelming if parents send things they didn’t sign-up for.
