Homework

In Pre-KG we do not set formal homework. However, here are some ways you can support your child’s progress at home.

Encourage them to do age appropriate tasks independently. Cleaning their own toys away, getting themselves dressed, going to the bathroom and washing their hands.

In our weekly newsletter we will send extra activities or links, relating to what we are currently learning.

Online platforms and helpful websites

Online platforms and websites will be shared with you regularly. These will link to the themes and topics the children are learning in school.

Trips and Visits this year

  • We will continue to access the situation and advise parents should any trips come up that will be suitable and safe for this age group.

Extra Curricular Activities

At Wales International School we are proud to offer a wide range of activities to enhance the children's experiences at school. From arts and crafts, to sports clubs, quiz club and Qu’ran club, the children can choose an activity that inspires and ignites their imagination.

We also have a number of children who are regularly taking part in activities in the community and we would love to share in their successes with them.

Absence and lateness

Children should be in school by 7:45am so that they have time to settle in and get ready for the start of the day. Please ensure that your child arrives at school ontime.

School finishes at 12:30.

If your child is unwell and is unable to come to school, please message your child’s teacher on dojo or contact Miss Nesma or Mr Mostafa. Children should bring a signed sick note into school when they are well enough to return.
