اذهب الي النملة أيها الكسلان
Go to the ant, you sluggard!
اذهب الى النملة ايها الكسلان تامل طرقها و كن حكيما (ام 6: 6)
Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise (Pro 6 : 6)
النمل طائفة غير قوية و لكنه يعد طعامه في الصيف (ام 30: 25)
The ants [are] a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer; (Pro 30 : 25)
كالخل للاسنان و كالدخان للعينين كذلك الكسلان للذين ارسلوه.
(أم 10 : 26)
As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, So [is] the lazy [man] to those who send him
(Pro 10 : 26)

الرخاوة لا تمسك صيدا اما ثروة الانسان الكريمة فهي الاجتهاد. (أم 12: 27)
The lazy [man] does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence [is] man's precious possession (Pro 12 : 27)
لا يصل لنتائج:
Does not reach any results
علامات الكسل:

نفس الكسلان تشتهي و لا شيء لها و نفس المجتهدين تسمن. (أم 13: 4)
The soul of a lazy [man] desires, and [has] nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich (Pro 13 : 4)
يكتفي بالتمنيات:
Just wishing for something, satisfies him
الكسل يلقي في السبات و النفس المتراخية تجوع. (أم 19: 15)
Laziness casts [one] into a deep sleep, And an idle person will suffer hunger (Pro 19 : 15)
يحب النوم:
Likes Sleeping
الكسلان يخفي يده في الصحفة وايضا الى فمه لا يردها.(أم 19: 24)
A lazy man buries his hand in the bowl, And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again(Pro19:24)
لا يكمل العمل:
Does not continue doing a work task
الكسلان لا يحرث بسبب الشتاء فيستعطي في الحصاد ولا يعطى.
(أم 20 : 4)
The lazy [man] will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing
(Pro 20:4)
يبحث عن الأعذار:
Searches for excuses
شهوة الكسلان تقتله لان يديه تابيان الشغل. ( أم 21: 25)
The desire of the lazy [man] kills him, For his hands refuse to labor (Pro 21 : 25)
يؤذي نفسه:
Harms himself
قال الكسلان الاسد في الخارج فاقتل في الشواع. (أم 22: 13)
The lazy [man] says, "[There is] a lion outside! I shall be slain in the streets!" (Pro 22 : 13)
يستسلم للمخاوف:
Gives in to fears
نوم قليل بعد نعاس قليل وطي اليدين قليلا للرقود. فياتي فقرك كعداء و عوزك كغاز ( أم 24 : 33 , 34)
A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; So shall your poverty come [like] a prowler, And your need like an armed man (Pro 24 : 33, 34)
يؤجل و يؤجل:
Postpones and postpones
الكسلان اوفر حكمة في عيني نفسه من السبعة المجيبين بعقل.
(أم 26 : 16)
The lazy [man is] wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly (Pro 26 : 16)
يدعى الحكمة:
Claims to be wise
الكسلان ياكل لحمه و هو طاو يديه. (جا 4: 5)
The fool folds his hands And consumes his own flesh (Ecc 4 : 5)
يكره المجتهدين:
Hates the diligent ones
بالكسل الكثير يهبط السقف وبتدلي اليدين يكف البيت. (جا 10 : 18)
Because of laziness the building decays, And through idleness of hands the house leaks
(Ecc 10 : 18)
طريقه الفشل وخراب البيت:
