What is Job Corps???

  • An enhanced vocational training program that services youths & young adults ages 16-24 yrs. old. (Age requirement is waived if you have a proven documented disability for applicants age 25 or older).
  • ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
  • Free residential dorms and meals! (You can also be a non-res!)
  • Free high school and Hi-SET services!
  • Free job uniforms and supplies!
  • Leave our program with a job, join the military, or utilize our extended education opportunities!

Who is Eligible?

  • Ages 16 through 24
  • From an economically disadvantaged background (below the poverty level)
  • A U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal resident, or permanent resident alien willing to sign a Zero Tolerance contract and committed to the opportunities Job Corps provides

  • Minors MUST have consent from parents or legal guardian.
  • Can demonstrate need for academic and/or career training
  • You must be released from any court supervision before you can start the interview process. Also must be free from mandated court hearings/pending appearances.
  • Does not owe more than $500 in fines.
  • Must be committed to completing the program.
