CONCLUSION (COMPANY VISION VS PRODUCT VISION)

After practicing the breakdown of company vision & product vision for three selected startups (Kumparan, IDN Media, and Midtrans), I found that both these terms may different but they are interchangeably. Company vision typically speaks about broader messages that a company wants to deliver. while product vision is communicated more concisely, directly, and specifically to specific user personas.

Like a one-to-many relationship where a company vision may have multiple product visions. For example, IDN Media has a company vision to bring a democratized and positive impact through journalism. However, the way to get there is varied (the product is also varied). Simply said like; they have IDN TIMES, POPBELA, POPMAMA, GGWP, FORTUNE IDN, etc. They try to engage with the communities with different personas (like female, youngster, entrepreneur, gamers, etc). This is how they define their product vision where it is aligning every products and stakeholders which is inclusivity.
