Dear Pipit,

It has been such a long time since the last time I saw you. So far my holiday in North Sumatra was great.

I spent two days in a wonderful hotel near Toba lake. Lake Toba’s stunnig beauty is beyond words to describe. It took almost 6 hours to reach Parapat from Medan’s Kuala Namu Airport and another 30 minutes to Samosir Island but it’s worth the long Brastagi, so it’s no doubt I want to go there again sometime in the future.

I took a boat ride and saw the lake and mountains. It was very tiring but the view of the lake was so georgeous.

I hope your vacation has been going well for you too. There is only a week left of the Eid Ul Fitr vacation and after that we are back yo school. Would you like meet up sometime before school starts?

Your friend,

Melanie
