Purpose

Overview

  • In this observation, teachers will partner with another teacher in their department, observe each other, and hold a reflective conversation.

Goal

  • Observing a peer and holding a follow-up reflective conversation about instruction allows you to thoughtfully consider your instructional practices.

Partner Observation Process

January 30

Observation process overview and the pre-observation meeting.

February 3-6

Partners observe each other.

February 7

Hold a debrief conversation during Department/CLT Time.

February 20

After a short staff meeting, the remaining time will be Department/CLT time.
