Reading | In Module 9 Unexpected, Unexplained... The essential question is “What makes something mysterious and what makes people want to solve mysteries?” Skills of focus in this Module, Central Idea, Author’s Purpose, Media Techniques, Point of View and Make Predictions. In Writing we will work on following the rubric to complete our “Write a Response” and “Performance Task”. |
Math | In Math, The students will continue to work on understanding and creating line plots. Then, we will complete activities in Envisions for “Getting Ready for 6th grade”.

Science | In science, we will continue our unit on the Solar System. 5th graders are enjoying learning about, and exploring the moon, the sun, our beautiful planet Earth, as well as about other planets in our Solar Stem.

Social Studies | In Social Studies , We will be exploring Canada, the largest country in the Western Hemisphere |
