General SIP information

OSB-Styrofoam-OSB glued together.

Available in sizes to make 2X4 or 2x6 walls

Tubes available in the walls/ceiling for wiring

Up to 12” thickness.

Between panels there are “spacers” and glue to prevent air flow directly through the joints.

Comes in panels of various sizes.

Can be installed by crane or forklift.

Very low air leakage.

Quick to put up.

Below is my my way of showing the strength of the SIPs. I have a spacer (8ft x 11 inches by 3 inches) about 1” above the ground. I had two people (400-600 lbs) stand on the middle of it. It did not touch the ground and did not break.
