A few important steps:

Here’s what you have to do:

  • You should talk 3-7 minutes.
  • You must bring the book with you!
  • Your book Review must be oral!( בעל פה)
  • Present the title of the book ,the name of the author and the type of the book: adventure, horror, romance, science fiction, detective, mystery, drama, etc.

Talk about the following:

  • The writer of the book: date & place of birth; other interesting facts(family, other books ,hobbies etc)
  • Main character/s
  • The plot (עלילה) – in short-the summary of the book
  • The setting: refer to place/s, periods of time- prepare a time line to show the main events of the plot.
  • Add your opinion about the book: why you recommend /don’t recommend reading the book. Use adjectives and expressions to show your opinion.
  • Add what you can learn from your book or the story you have read: about yourself, about life

Prepare a PPT to your presentation! Your PPT �should include:

  • titles, subtitles
  • pictures or photos of : the book /story , the book’s characters, the place /places
  • a time line – to show events
  • list of 10 new words (meaning + part of speech) presented on one slide- you must read them out! The list should be presented at the end of your presentation- on the last slide!
