Simplified experience for 2SV methods in Workspace
We've simplified the process for enabling 2-Step Verification (2SV) to make it easier for users and admins. Users can now add second step methods like Google Authenticator before turning on 2SV, and those with hardware security keys have new options for registration; additionally, enrolled second steps are retained if users disable 2SV from their account settings, although admins can still remove them via the Admin console or SDK.

Hide tiles without video during Google Meet calls
Now you can hide non-video tiles in Meet calls to help reduce screen clutter and focus on video-enabled participants, while users with their videos off can be shown on screen if they speak. Note that this feature, same as other layouts options, is only specific to your meeting view and does not impact what other participants see or set for their layouts during the meeting.

Google Meet increases support for ultra-low latency live streaming
For Google Workspace editions supporting 100,000 viewers, the ultra-low latency viewing experience for Google Meet live streams is expanding from 10,000 to 25,000 viewers, with the rest having the standard experience. Set a time period for the auto-deletion of messages in Google Chat
Admins can now set a duration for users' Google Chat messages to be deleted automatically. This can apply to messages in 1:1 conversations, group conversations, and spaces, and time periods can be assigned for each message type. The auto-deletion timeframe can range from 30 days to several years.
