Get the list of individuals

Click on “Detail,” which is the right-most tab along the top of the dashboard. This gives you the list of actual individuals, with their contact information and other data.

6

On this screen, there are additional filters, including “Renewal Category” so you can see who’s renewed for next year or not. You now have a list of names and email addresses of all those who don’t have employer type data.

Download the list of individuals

You can then download this list, by clicking on the download button in the upper right. Select “Crosstab” and choose Excel or CSV. CSV works better, generally. If you choose Excel, the fields where something is the same for a bunch of members, show up as a merged field in Excel. The CSV file, instead, lists that value for each member, so it's easier to sort or otherwise manipulate.

Use the list to reach out to them!

If you’re going to reach out to people, however, you need to pay attention to the final column (“OK to Contact”) in the downloaded file. We can only reach out to those that have a “Y” in this column. This indicates if we have permission to contact them. For example, I downloaded the Berkshire Section list in R1 as I worked through this process. In this list, there were 61 names, but 6 of them have an “N” in the “OK to Contact” column, so you can’t email them.
