Who is The 6 Degrees Writer?

Welcome all!
That seems a bit pompous to ask this question… As if you should know who “The 6 Degrees Writer’ is…!
Well, in this case, it’s someone who has been plugging away at writing. It’s a writer working on trying to improve upon what has been written and to keep trying to get a bit better at what has been done for the past 20 years or more!

The Growing Group
A writer wants to write…and in most cases, they would like to be considered ‘successful’ at writing! That means finding your voice and finding your following. For some, it can take years
We are always told ‘Write what you know!” For many, that proves fruitful. But it’s not always true…You don’t have to commit murder to write “In Cold Blood!” (But it helps to have friends like Harper Lee😊)
Not just writing and creating something new…Editing is a craft too! 6 Degrees also has a platform on Flipboard with over 22,000 Followers for our various magazines online!

The work that has been done to kick-off the website, as well as the fantastic people I’ve had the privilege to work with over the past years has been something that makes me feel blessed in what I’ve been able to do!.

For those days when you feel in need of slowing down your thoughts & your whirring mind,, the vignettes may provide a short respite in the middle of a busy day. At times, we hope they may furnish a cool breeze or a sharp bracing bite of wind when needed during the course of your day!

My Grandmother’s Shakespeare

Starting with my first published book…
Another starting point for me was being able to release my first book in 2013, before I published 6 Degrees of Film.
This short book contains fiction and short stories that are in part autobiographical & in part fiction. The stories have the central themes of fantasy, fiction and family combined together to weave a narrative.
“My Grandmother’s Shakespeare’ is the anchor story which underscores the theme of artistic freedom-it’s a gift from the grandmother I never knew…! The story continues with “Finding Tess’ a new part of the story that tells a tale of overcoming the odds and rising from the ashes to become something or someone that leaves a lasting legacy of hope and redemption!

Starting in 2001…
Brown Bag Organics became a reality after I found out, almost 30 years ago, that I had a gluten intolerance & needed to follow a gluten-free diet…That journey took me into health food stores and a discovery of a whole new world of healthy eating and living…
Brown Bag Organics began as a small business in 2001, and has now morphed into an online magazine and Facebook page as well as our website page that constantly evolves with changing times and a growing consciousness about healthier eating and lifestyle choices.

It started with political blogging…
Of course, when you first begin to do something, you don’t realize at the time what a difference it will make or how much power it will assume in your life…
From the time that the political blogging began, way back in 2007, it has now evolved to become a daily occurrence. Twitter X is just one of the areas in which the political blog posts are found from 21st Century. Our newsletter started in 2016, and our following on Twitter and on Flipboard has now surpassed 2000 followers on “Red State/Blue State’ & on Twitter….as well as our Medium.com posts.
The latest offering is “Your Civics Guide,’ a short history of the study of Civics to find out how our everyday government functions!
