Parade Route

Hotel - Doubletree by Hilton Docklands Riverside

Address: 265a Rotherhithe Street, London SE16 5HW

Bedroom location

Your rooms will be allocated on specific floors of the hotel. The hotel will pre-assign your rooms in chaperone groups prior to arrival as per your request.

Bedroom types

Your bedroom allocation will be made up of a majority twins (2 beds for 2 people) and the balance doubles (1 large bed for two people). Triple rooms (usually a double & single bed for three people) are available on request. Anyone requesting a double room to themselves will need to pay the single supplement. ($720 charge)

Orientation Meeting

Orientation will take place in the London Room on the mezzanine floor. The room will be set up dinner style for 200.

Tickets

  • Tickets are available via TicketMaster UK
  • Link to the UK TicketMaster at the end of the Presentation
  • Based on experience, it is best to purchase tickets via a browser on your computer.
  • If you are interested in Grandstand tickets, the Parade recommends you purchase these as soon as possible.
  • As of 10/29, there are still great Grandstand and VIP seats available.
  • If someone figures out how to download the UK Ticketmaster app and purchases tickets, please let me know.

Two types of seats:

Grandstand - Seats along the parade route. £65.00 each

VIP - Seats near Downing St., £175.00 each. Access to VIP area, food, drinks, and VIP restrooms.

Street View - Appears to be free. Would have to get a spot based on availability and crowd size.

Pre-Trip Help Needed

Here is the pre-trip help we need:

  • Equipment Transport Contact—Someone who will help gather instruments and uniforms for transportation. A logistics company will pick up those items for us.
  • Food Contact—Someone who will help map the names of all travelers to ensure they have food cards, inform them of allergies, and more.

Insurance, Claims, Refunds

What is covered?

  1. Cancellation, up to $4,000.
  2. Medical and Emergency Expenses, up to $10,000 per insured person.
  3. Personal Accident, up to $25,000 per insured person.
  4. Baggage, up to $1,000 per Insured person.
  5. Musical Instruments, up to $5,000.
  6. Rental or Replacement Musical Instrument, up to $1,000.

All claims are subject to what is outlined, allowed, and not allowed in the Travel Insurance Policy.

Any claims, including refunds, must be submitted directly to B.D.B. Limited. Address is at the top of Page 2 of the policy.

Foothill Band Boosters are no longer responsible for refunds as of 9/1/2024. Travel Policy is now active as of 9/1/2024.

There is a $400 deductible for each claim submitted to B.D.B. Limited.

If you need to file a claim, please let Mr. Fagundes, Mr. Nishimori, and Mr. Reyes know.

This is a Band Trip

  • Priority is for our students to be with their friends and fellow students.
  • Families can spend time with their child at places we are meeting at as a group.
  • There will be no check-out/check-in process “releasing” a student to families for the duration of the trip.
    • Full Package - From Foothill to London to Foothill
    • Land Package - London Hotel Check in on 12/29 to Checkout on 1/4 about 11a.
