You must complete a vocabulary journal entry for 75 vocabulary words by the end of this year. You can hand it in at anytime before June 10th. This quarter you can earn a test grade of 100% if you complete at least 25 of the 75 words.

Here is the end of year rubric and here is the end of quarter 2 rubric.
Here are examples a vocabulary journals with complete entries for each word.
You should choose your own words based on what words you encounter that are new to you. Below are links to some word lists, remember you can also include any other words you encounter and want to learn more deeply.

Steps:

Read the example speeches and resources about argumentative writing.
Complete the Speech Outline on google classroom.

Peer Review with the peer review checklist (which is in your packet), make comments on each other’s drafts online.
Edit your work with the grammar checklist (which is also in your packet) and
