An inter-generational media mentorship between soon-to-be-high school-seniors and senior citizens.

Part Media Mentorship, part Human Library,

part Finnish education (of the whole child);

all human-connection powered.

These two students were great, we had lunch with them, talked about scholarships that they can take advantage of next year and found out that we knew some of the same students ....(one of the young people I knew as a teacher died as a young person and _____ turned out to be his cousin. Brought tears to my eyes.)

I really enjoyed listening to the student presentations I attended. They were well prepared and knew the subject matter they were presenting. I was more impressed with the way they communicated with us. I think this was a valuable experience for both the students and seniors.

I've had a couple people email me this morning ask if the Leveling Up will be an annual thing because they had so much fun or wished they could have participated!

It was a marvelous event, for both sides of the age divide. I loved being a part of this event and especially hearing Dr. Young’s informative and inspiring commentary as well. Thank you and Anna and all those involved for a decidedly outstanding and memorable event.

It was SO fun and I really wish we had more time to go to all the different stations. I didn’t expect to have as much fun and enjoy my time nearly as much as I did. So many seniors were so kind and I had many interesting conversations. 10/10 experience.
