April Release of Data

April 16 Roster Verification Release

100% of LEAs required to implement Act 13 submitted the Staff Student Subtest file (used to populate what educators see in the RV system)!

Teacher-Student Linkages based on the Staff Student Subtest file, including access for District-level account holders

Now all teachers who have rosters can use the Custom Student Report to find data for their currently enrolled students!

Remember, data access in PVAAS depends on account settings that LEAs and schools manage!

We know that PVAAS growth data exists within a larger frame of data. As you explore your growth data in PVAAS, we’d like to highlight a resource that may be helpful to you as you consider your larger data landscape. The guide provides a frame for building and maintaining a culture rooted in using data to make decisions. As educational leaders, you are poised to support the use of data for critical decision-making across your system– at the LEA level, school level, and teacher level. Supporting the use of data requires attention to a data-driven culture. This guide provides practical questions and evidence to support the partnership between LEA/district and school leaders as you work to evaluate your programs together. We’ll be highlighting key actions related to PVAAS growth as represented in the guide.

What if Something Is Missing?

How to Build PVAAS Rosters Manually is a step-by-step guide for adding teachers, rosters, and students.

This can be handled during the Preview Phase by principals & district leaders so that when the teacher phase opens, the teacher sees a cleaner set of rosters.

NOTE: Only School Admins (principals) have the ability to add teachers. District leaders can add rosters and students once a teacher has been added to RV.
