Academic programs of bachelor/master in OT have incorporated scientific skills training ( Cameron, 2005)
European Higher Education Area has a substantial chance to lead vital changes in the learning-teaching process (Bonsón, 2005)
Occupational therapist need improve the scientific skills to provide to their patients clinical decision based on evidence.
Participants reported limited engagement in conducting research studies, although the majority of the participants reported implementing the findings of research into their clinical practice to some extent (Lyons, 2011)

Journals clubs are considered an interesting teaching/learning resources to develop scientific skills.
94% of the included studies reported improvement in skills, knowledge, or behavior about evidence-based practice.

To date, Journal Clubs are rarely introduced in the undergraduate and master students training.

The purpose of this conference paper is to describe the development and implementation of a Journal Club for bachelor/master OT students. Moreover, we display the results of the level of satisfaction and motivation for attending this type of research initiatives in the students who participated in this education innovation and research project.

The announcement of participant recruitment was published on the notice board of the OT degrees
Bachelor students could apply for transversal and professional competences credits validation (1 ECTS) presenting the certificate in the university services

Development and implementation of Journal Club in bachelor and master’s OT students.
Students were very satisfied and motivated with this activity.
Start new edition of the innovation program
Afterwards, we will be able to evaluate the changes in self-efficacy, skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in OT students with a larger
sample size.
