What are Senior Portraits?

Seniors are encouraged to take special photographs (senior portraits) to commemorate their senior year. Yearbooks traditionally use senior portraits in the senior section instead of school pictures.

Seniors can opt for a yearbook only photo (free of charge), or a more comprehensive photo package that includes outfit changes, cap & gown, and sports uniforms.

ONLY SENIOR PORTRAITS ARE INCLUDED IN THE SENIOR SECTION OF THE YEARBOOK. School pictures will not be included in this section. You MUST have a senior portrait taken in order to have your picture appear in this section of the yearbook.

What is the cost?

What are my options?

Based on the package you choose, you might have a variety of outfit options.

The photographer will provide the standard yearbook/graduation outfits (tuxedo, velvet drape, cap & gown).

Do I have choices?

The yearbook photographs must be uniform up to a point. They must either be the drape or the tuxedo. However, you are free to choose the style you are most comfortable with.

If you prefer the drape style, but are uncomfortable with where the drape sits, you can wear something under the drape (plain black or white is preferrable.
