We are learning...
Throughout this course, we have been learning about the relationship between humans and natural systems. For our activity, we have tied environmental education into a variety of learning contexts through an engaging lesson. We have taken the cycle of a butterfly and turned it into a fun experience where students will demonstrate the cycle through the form of dance. After reading a mentor text, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, students will work in small groups and use the Elements of Dance to create their performance. They will perform their dance outside in a park or forest and their peers will give feedback.
