MODERNIZED CAREER CLUSTERS

Career Clusters

19 of 40

SUMMARY OF MAJOR CHANGES

  • Nothing has been eliminated from the existing framework.
  • New clusters were added or existing clusters were renamed.
  • More attention is focused on the interdisciplinarity of clusters, particularly those that include careers that cut across all other sectors.
  • Digital Technology, Marketing & Sales, and Management & Entrepreneurship are designed as both stand-alone clusters and cross-cutting clusters

Decisions regarding where specific programs of study reside and the teaching endorsements required will be addressed as State Model Programs of Study and course standards are revised in 2026.
