    • Defacing public property with graffiti and other forms of "art" on desks, tables, chairs, walls, bulletin boards, bathroom stalls, books, etc.,

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE FIND VANDALISM

Vandalism is quickly reported to school staff. Immediately upon hearing about the vandalism, a custodian works to clean the vandalism. Administrators, SSO and SRO will review camera footage. We will look at classroom sign-out sheets and verify that the suspected vandal was out of the classroom. We will pull the student from class, notify parents, and assign disciplinary action. Examples include:

    • Paying the school back for the damage caused.
    • Staying after school and assisting with the clean-up process and restoration.
    • Personally apologizing to the custodian and your classmates for not respecting our school.
    • Suspension
    • Possible police involvement if the damage is extensive.
