�Hackathon planning �Audience SDV hackathon Q4:

– 3-day event – check logistics and requirements of the location at Accenture

hack challenges (students)? Guided to each project or open challenge – duration of hack experience - is it to raise awareness of the particular projects or all of SDV
Goals: getting more people to be involved in the projects “exchange hostages” – between teams – project teams to work with one another

Goal 1 - projects to collaborate among each other, team-mixing, integrating other projects into their own, get involved in other projects and make changes and use them in their own, work together to solve a certain use case - not stand alone
Goal 2 - project adoption, SDV gets greater adoption, attract others to use the projects, opportunity for the projects to showcase their technology (Architects, professional developers) - what does SDV have to offer

Audience: students, professional developers outside of the SDV community, other software group of developers – BMW

ESRL Lab (Accenture) – Munich area, TU Munich, Capgemini, FEV,
Existing community – from EclipseCon – sign up for the hackathon, how do we attract and differentiate the two events? -
Audience from 42 – bring 10-20 students, bring sponsors of 42, implement the hackathon in their curriculum

Who should be involved for success?

Participants from current projects (project leaders) – provide them with a framework
Hack MC overseeing the challenges

What do we do at EclipseCon to prepare for the SDV Hackathon

Guide the community – have a blueprint, references from EclipseCon and then prepare variations for developing the hack challenge and use cases they can work on during the hackathon
Open collaboration sessions during at EclipseCon

Participants

Number of teams to be formed: no more than 10 teams? Is it a team hack challenge or individual? If it is a team challenge - they need to be both days? If there are no teams

We build teams on site and makes groups on site - one person per project per team
2 days hack challenges (code work), half a day competition & ceremony
Participants from organizations – what would be the difference between companies approving travel costs per teams – project leads and involved developers
Total 80-100 (location capacity)

Platform where developers can be the centre of the attention and interact with one another
It is at the core of the interaction between the SDV WG and projects.

Target Audience

Developers of existing projects, and interested developers and organisations who are not yet actively involved in SDV related projects.
Decision makers are welcome to join and interact with the community they help create.

Goals of the event

a place to present new projects
a place to learn and engage
a place to exchange and collaborate for the existing community

Tech Talks

Invited experts from the community hold presentations on relevant technical topics highlighted by the community.
