Setting Your Password from a Smartphone

Step 1: Connect to “ECC Public” WiFi, if needed

Step 2: Scroll down and click on “Guests register here”

Step 3: Complete the self registration information

Step 4: Go to your phone browser (Safari, chrome, etc.) and type elgin.edu and press Enter/go

Step 5: When you see this page, scroll all the way to the blue part in the bottom

Step 6: Click on AcessECC

Step 7: Click New Users Start Here.

Step 7: Click Get/Reset Password.

Step 8: Enter your User Name and Submit.

Step 9: Choose where to receive a verification code.

Step 10: Enter verification code.

Step 11: Write a new password.

• At least 12 characters long
• Contain at least one uppercase letter
• Contain at least one lowercase letter
• Contain at least one number
• Contain at least one special character �such as: # ; < ? ! @ $ % ^ & * -
• No spaces, commas or periods
• Cannot contain your name or user ID

Write your password in a safe place!

Step 12: Log in on a computer/chromebook using the username and password you just created!
