Censorship numbs us.

We can’t speak about problems that frustrate us.

We can’t hear about troubles that affect us.

We can’t see issues hidden from us.

But censorship can’t take away all of our senses.

And while touch can comfort many,

it’s also a no-no in a pandemic.

​

Can we engage our sense of smell to

comfort the frustrated and let them know

that they are not alone?

Insight

Political Dis-scent

A signature scent for the politically frustrated �to sense the solidarity and feel calmer.

Introducing the Political Dis-scent - a signature scent that physically comforts the user and those around them.

​

We release the scent as a soap, available in all public places. The soap can be purchased by anyone to be used anywhere, and will always come with a subtle message of hope.

Idea

The Political Dis-scent is a subtle way for anyone to turn�frustration into a force for good.

​

Purchase the soap to fund people that have been hurt by political problems, or (if it’s too dangerous) support any cause that helps the greater good in Russia.

​

Distribute it in public places to spread messages of hope, and encourage more to wash their hands to spread the scent and �share solidarity.

​

Most importantly, use it so we can comfort those around us in a subtle way without discussing politics and putting anyone in danger.

​

The Political Dis-Scent will unite politically-frustrated people by bringing hope and human touch to the act of handwashing amidst �a pandemic.
