  • Each fact group will be typed on a single slide
  • Font will be 44 point or greater on each slide
    • If you can’t do 44 point because you have a large fact… talk to Mrs. Carter
  • You can pick one color for your text on all of the slides
    • The color will need to be a dark color so it can be read easily.
  • You can pick one font for all of your slide.
    • The font will need to be easily read. No cursive fonts.

Owls are birds of prey. They use their sharp talons to grab their prey.

Owls can come in many sizes. The smallest owl is only five inches long, it's called the elf owl. The largest owl is 33 inches long, it is called the great gray owl.

Owls have very flexible necks, because their eyes cannot move in their eye sockets.

Owls have a thick eyelid that keeps their eyes clean and protected. It’s called nictitating membrane.

Owls have good night vision because their pupils get bigger and let in more light.

Owls use their beaks to shred their food when it's too big to swallow it whole.

When female owls lay their eggs they will keep them warm by sitting on them. This is called incubation.
