Basics to be Prepared

  • Students Must be in Athletic Clothes to Participate in PE!
  • Keep cell phones in your backpack in the locker room .
  • Come ready to move around and have FUN!
  • Please meet your teacher in assigned area of the gym. This ensures proper attendance and preparation grade.

Preparation for Class

Students will use the locker rooms to change.

  • Bring your Athletic Sneakers that lace
    • No boots, slippers, crocs, sandals, Uggs.
  • The grass is always a little damp- Bring a change of socks in the morning.
  • Be prepared in athletic style clothing.
  • Always be prepared for the weather! Jackets, sweatshirts, sunglasses (Above 40 degrees we can be outside!)
  • Clothing should not reflect negative words or images.

MEDICALS

Students may take 1 “Excused Medical” per marking period.

    • Not feeling well, headache, stomach ache, etc.

  • After 1 Medical- Students must have a note from a doctor stating why they cannot participate in physical activity. A written assignment will be given.

  • Unpreparedness will negatively affect your grade.
    • If students are not dressed properly to participate for the day, they are considered unprepared (will be asked to sit out of activity). “Athletic wear”

Safety & Security

  • All backpacks and bags to be stored in the locker rooms.
  • Lockers should be secured with a lock.
  • Keep valuables in your hall locker.
  • Do not open or prop outside doors.
  • Follow staff instructions during emergency drills (Fire drill, lockdown drill etc)
