Don’t worry about what your friends are doing
Look at what your future goals/plans are
Look at what colleges may want to see
Talk to your teachers/parents/guardians about what may work best for you

Ask questions and explore your options!
Don’t put down courses you’ve already taken (unless you need to repeat a course for credit)

CHOOSE CAREFULLY! Making changes is very difficult.

You will only be allowed to change your schedule for one of these reasons:

One of the following criteria must be met to make a schedule error correction:

Student failed a prerequisite and is no longer eligible for the course.
Computer error (example: 2- 1st period classes)
Open period to fill
Medical reason (requires doctor note provided to the school)

We may have included pre-placement into special education programs, ML programs, as well as making a recommendation on a math course for next year.

Here you will see two important documents that should be used when going through the registration process. These can be both be found at the link displayed on your screen or by going to the champlin park high school homepage and going to the Counseling Tab. The image on the left shows a course reference sheet. This will have every course available to a student at CPHS along with the course number to the left of it. This will be needed when entering your course requests in StudentVue. This document will also have video links to learn more about the specific class.

To the right shows the optional planning worksheet that we have had students turn in in previous years. This year you will not need to turn this in, but should be used as a reference as you decide with classes you will take next year.
