What to consider when choosing classes

  • Choose classes that are right for you
    • Don’t worry about what your friends are doing
    • Look at what your future goals/plans are
    • Look at what colleges may want to see
    • Talk to your teachers/parents/guardians about what may work best for you
  • Ask questions and explore your options!
  • Don’t put down courses you’ve already taken (unless you need to repeat a course for credit)
    • Open your course history
    • Look at your trimester 3 schedule
  • CHOOSE CAREFULLY! You will NOT be allowed to make changes.

  • Students with an IEP or 504 case managers or ML teachers should visit with them about appropriate class choices

One of the following criteria must be met to make a schedule error correction:

  1. Student failed a prerequisite and is no longer eligible for the course.
  2. Computer error (example: 2- 1st period classes)
  3. Open period to fill
  4. Medical reason (requires doctor note provided to the school)

We have PRE-POPULATED grade level required courses when you log on to Student Vue Course Requests

We may have included pre-placement into special education programs, ML programs, as well as making a recommendation on a math course for next year.

You can make CHANGES to courses that are in there if you’d like to opt into the Honors version of a course!

  • Great opportunity to ask questions
  • Fill out the mini session sheet, do NOT lose it (give to your advisor to hold onto for you)
    • Circle your 4 choices, then write them on the bottom of the sheet so you know your schedule of where to go each session
    • Choose an alternate option for each session as well incase a room is too full
    • There will only be 5 min to get from one session to the next so try to plan sessions out accordingly
