HISTORY

75+ Years

Camp Neidig was founded in 1950 by Rotary District 2654’s governing officer, Joseph S. Neidig, to provide leadership skills to young men.

After District 2654 split in 1961, newly-formed District 7430 renamed the camp to Camp Neidig

The camp saw a range of changes over the years since; the inclusion of women as campers in 1990, campsite relocations, change in staff and directors, and an ever-changing understanding of how leadership looks.

The Neidig staff is proud to provide an inclusive, equitable, and educational experience to all campers.
