MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Warren East High School is to create a safe and orderly learning environment and provide students with a balance of knowledge, skills, and experiences that will enable them to reach their maximum potential and become ethical, responsible, and productive citizens.
INTRODUCTION AND ACCREDITATION
Warren East High School is a comprehensive high school accredited by both the Kentucky State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Warren East High School is a state of the art facility situated in a rural community in northeastern Warren County. The student population stems primarily from families deeply rooted in an earnest work ethic and strong family framework. While the Warren East community has traditionally embraced a bucolic agricultural environment, it is currently undergoing a burst of economic and industrial development. Warren East strives to prepare its students to meet the ever changing needs of a diverse, complex world by effective utilization of research based curriculum.
Current student population is 950; the senior class numbers 231.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Warren East High School provides the opportunity for further growth as individuals by offering a variety of extra-curricular programs. Some of these programs include: Academic Team, Band, Beta Club, Junior Beta Club, Choir, FBLA, FCA, FCCLA, FFA, International Student Union, National Honor Society, STLP, Yearbook, Pep Club, Competition Marksmanship Team (must be in ROTC), Orienteering (must be in ROTC). We also offer the following sports: Archery, Baseball, Boys & Girls Basketball, Bass Fishing, Bowling, Cheerleading, Cross County, Dance Team, Football, Golf, Boys & Girls Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball.

Students are required to take eight courses per year. Each graduating class has different credit requirements: 26 credits. Classes meet five times per week for 83-minute blocks. The following distribution of courses is a minimum requirement for graduation:
