Believing on Jesus

John 2

23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in his name when they saw the signs that he was doing.

24 But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people 25 and needed no one to bear witness about man, for he himself knew what was in man

Jesus did not entrust himself to them, because he knew all people and he knew what was in man.

19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, 21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Gal 5:19-21

11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, (Eph 4)

to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Ephesians 4

pisteuō (sounds like pist-yoo’-o)

Verb - “to believe," also "to be persuaded of," and hence, "to place confidence in, to trust,”

Matthew 27:42

42 “He saved others; he cannot save himself. He is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in (pisteuō epi) him.

Believing in Jesus and believing on things and people that you cannot count on.

How is that working out for me?

Believing on, trusting in Jesus, His power, Life His way.
