AIM;- To study about the parts of a plant.

REQUIREMENTS; Collect a plant from your surrounding.

OBSERVATION; The plant posses different parts like,-

1.root,

2 stem ,

3 leaf ,

4 branches,

5.fruits with seeds,

6. buds

1.Root

Root absorbs water and minerals from soil and fixes the plant firmly in the soil.

2. Stem

Stem gives mechanical support to the plant and transport water and minerals from roots to leaves.

3. Leaf

Leaf prepare food by photosynthesis and perform transpiration through it’s stomata.

4.Branch

It exposes the leaves to sunlight.

5. Buds

It develops into flower.

6. Flowers.

Flowers are the reproductive organ of plant.

7.Fruits with seeds

Fruits posses seeds in them which helps in propagation or increase the number of plants.

INFERENCE: Different organs of the plant posses different functions as follows:
