My Initial Idea

Always wanted a golf project
A tournament at the beginning
Developed into a scramble
Developed into golf classes
When golf classes were developed proper materials were inaccessible
Developed into writing lesson plans for classes

Where did my project end up

My project ended up with me writing a 12-day lesson plan for an elementary level golf class and finished would look like me finished with my 12 lesson plans which would make up an entire unit. I formulated the lessons into a situation where I would have the proper clubs for it and have all the materials I need.

Where Does My Project Currently Stand

My project stands with me finished with a whole unit of elementary-level lessons of golf classes. If I were to continue this project I might try to get the proper materials and attempt to actually teach my lessons.

What was the Hardest Failure

When I was mid-way through my project, I was procrastinating a lot because I thought it would be too difficult to recruit like 25 people for a tournament when in reality it wouldn't have been too hard. When I changed my idea to teaching the class, I was having issues with finding golf clubs for the kids to use because you can't teach a golf class without the proper materials.

What was the Biggest Lesson I Learned

The biggest lesson I learned was not to let the days go by when there is a project due. I procrastinated a lot on the whole project and I'm now realizing that high school won't be as acceptable as all of the teachers at summit so I need to stop procrastinating on things that are mandatory.

What Part am I Most Proud of

I am definitely most proud of my final lesson plan because I had all of the lesson plans done but then I decided that it needed a bit of flair so I came up with the idea to actually go to the golf course to practice and have a field trip to finish the unit.

What Could I Change

The only thing I would change about my project is getting the actual materials for a golf class and teaching the kids one or two golf classes.

How did the Pandemic Change my Project

The pandemic made it so I couldn't participate in the boulder startup week and it gave me more time to finish my lesson plans.

How has Pinnacle Changed my Mindset About my Topic and work

Pinnacle taught me to not wait until there isn't enough time to do work and it changed my mindset about golf it made me want to get out on the course even more often.
