Spaced Repetition Memory Technique

Spaced memorization is a learning technique that incorporates increasing intervals of times between subsequent review of information in order to exploit the psychological spacing effect.

Tutor Sushi aims to use this to help participants remember important information from calls without the need to track which information they need to remember more frequently. The spaced repetition software will remember bite-sized information users memorized less well by sending it for review more frequently.

By doing this, participants will save time and energy while learning. The software will help knowledge workers, students and teachers meet and work more efficiently during the crisis by making online working time well spent. Tutor Sushi’s features remove productivity barriers in the way of meeting and memorizing.

Language Learning Example 1/2

SR apps take the form of flashcards where users have to answer a question or remember missing information. This is an example of how our SR feature will work, taking a sentence from the conference call notes to create a flashcard from it. The card will show the answer and users will rate their memory.

Language Learning Example 2/2

The answer in the image on the right shows options users can click to rate their memory of the information. Tutor Sushi will send cards which users found harder more frequently. This will effectively allow users to spend more time on important information, allowing them to progress faster in their studies.

Revenue Model And Market Size

The market size for conference calling software is estimated at 6.4 billion dollars with very good expectations for growth in the coming years. Tutor Sushi will operate on a freemium licencing model, this will include a pricing plan for companies to sponsor schools.

The main players used in education and training are Zoom, Webex and Skype. Neither of these platforms offer in app collaborative features or features specific to education.
