-The community has a hierarchical set-up constituting of the community lead, community manager and functional area leads. The functional area leads form the working committee that defines the strategic for their respective area. Other leadership roles are tied to specific skills such as events organization, accounting etc. Roles are reviewed annually or as need arises.

-Activities in the community are planned quarterly and responsibilities assigned to each member. At the end of each quarter, we meet to review what has been achieved and how we can do better.

- Grow the number of core contributors.

- Recruit new Mozillians

- Strengthen contribution to functional areas

- Create new partnerships to grow the community

The MozUP started commenced back in March 2015 with the object being, to bring together the Mozillians of the entire state of UP. We believe technology innovation and web literacy are critical to sustainable economic growth and social development. At MozUP, we incessantly work on the aspects that make a real difference in the lives of thousands of people. Till now, we had done over 10 events in 7months in 3 different cities , 7 new FSA clubs was formed, 50+ students registered themselves as an FSA with over 500+ event attendee & we have launched webmaker club & womoz in Uttar Pradesh.For More Info

- Represented Jordan in the RTL L10N Hackathon in Colombo, SL.

- Made guiding documents for newly recruited FSAs.

- Spotted 3 times as rep of the month : Mohammed Migdadi , Mahmood Qudah , Wissam Azzam

How is the community organized? How do people coordinate their work?:

We use the Mozilla Jordan Facebook Group as the main communication channel, which is used to share news, updates, events, ideas, campaigns, etc.

Currently our community have properly organized functional teams , new and existing contributors are guided accordingly about how to contribute in different areas.

Goals for 2016:

- ُEstablish more than 5 Firefox Clubs.

- Organize Firefox OS Workshops, Hackathons for QA, SUMO, Localization, etc.

- Keeping Participating in Tech events to showcase Mozilla products and projects.
