  • Refugees, Asylees, SIV Holders, TPS holders, Cuban/Haitian Entrants, Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees
  • Less than 5 years in the United States
  • Hold active Employment Authorization Card

Services Offered:

  • Job search, placement, and retention support
  • English language, job skills, and cultural orientation classes
  • Referrals to skills training programs such as:
    • Dress for Success
    • HCC ESOL Culinary, ESOL Nurse Aide
    • Nourish Your Career
    • CDL programs
    • Online accounting courses
    • Monarch School of Cosmetology

Gleaning Trip

Sudanese and Arabic speaking Health Group enjoyed their gleaning trip to the local farm and had a chance to bring home some healthy organic vegetables.

Winter Clothing for New Arrivals

5 bags of winter clothes, boots, and hats were donated by Northampton partner school. Students helped to sort and organize donations for new arrivals through R&P.

Liga de Paz

JFS Youth Program middle school girls' soccer team joined Liga de Paz with Soccer Without Borders. The team made five weekend trips to Boston and created a fun, safe, and welcoming soccer community with other newcomers in MA.
