  • Log into Aspen
  • Top tab, click on My Info
  • Side tab, click on request

Selecting classes for next school year

  • There will be classes listed you need to take based on the program you are in at the top
  • Click on select to choose your classes (some classes are pre-populated based on the program you are in)
  • You must select 7 primary requests
  • Click on “Amundsen Scheduling Website” to see descriptions of all the courses we currently offer

Teacher Recommendations

If one of your current teachers has made a recommendation for next year, you’ll see it in this section. Choose the course(s) if you would like to accept.

Select class

  • For some selections, you may have more than 1 choice
  • Click “OK” after the selection
  • Some choices may require an approval (honors and advanced classes)
  • Make sure the sequence is correct, for example if you are currently taking Spanish I, you should select Spanish II for your world language and not a different language you haven’t taken
  • We will try our best to honor your choices, but it will be based on availability of space

Post your selections

  • You can leave a note for your counselor if you have any questions
  • Once you are done, make sure to click “Post” at the bottom
  • If you have any questions, reach out to your counselor or Mr. Lim (ilim@cps.edu) or Mr. Nguyen (mvnguyen@cps.edu) in the programming office
