TALKING WITH CHILDREN ABOUT SAFETY FROM SEXUAL ABUSE
WHO: Jennifer Gross, LCSW, CSOTP at The Child Advocacy Center of Arlington County, VA
WHAT: TALKING WITH CHILDREN ABOUT SAFETY FROM SEXUAL ABUSE (1 hour) - Have age appropriate, open conversations about our bodies, sex, and boundaries. Recognize a child’s attempts to talk about their concerns.
WHEN: December 2, 2020 6:00pm – Spanish 7:00pm – English
WHY: Working together to make the world free from child sexual abuse, where children can grow up happy, healthy and safe. We know that prevention is possible, and we believe that it is an adult responsibility to protect children.
NOTE: Marisol Roca and I will be presenting to a Child Protection lesson to all students in December 2020. Letters will be going home soon.

Sponsor a Key family: 2 toys, 1 book, 1 pair of gloves, 1 hat and 1 sweater or fleece per child, 1 gift,1 hat and pair of gloves for each adult, and a grocery store gift card ($25 per family member)
Sponsor a Key student: 2 toys, 1 book, 1 pair of gloves, 1 hat, and 1 sweater or fleece
Contribute Target and/or Giant gift cards to help additional families
Contribute food items to AFAC and winter clothing to Clothesline

Teachers may not receive more than $100 in gifts per family
Teacher’s email address do not accept e-gift cards
Small gifts and cards can be dropped off at school
Letters, cards, and pictures from students are always appreciated!
Don’t forget to acknowledge support staff and assistants!
