CAMS Attendance Policy

  • Per LBUSD Board Policy each student has 5 school days to clear an absence.
  • To submit an absence note, contact Ms. Hoppe via phone call, email or a note.

LBUSD Dress Code Policy

  • Clothing including hats, jewelry, accessories or skin art (tattoos) associated with alcohol, drugs, tobacco, sex, obscenity, gangs or violence are prohibited
  • Outer clothes must completely cover underclothes
  • Footwear must be appropriate for school activities

District Cell Phone Policy

  • In January 2026, LBUSD implemented a district cell phone policy in accordance with AB 3216
  • This policy will prohibit the use or presence of cell phones in classrooms (phones must be off and out of sight during class time).
  • Please speak with your child about cell phone use, the problems they may be having with cell phone addiction, and the fact that they will have limited ability to use their phones at school.

Families will still have access to their children by cell phone during passing periods, nutrition, and lunch.
