The culture of AIESEC in Tilburg is characterized by openness, innovation, positivity & having a shared mission. Openness means that all ideas and personalities are welcome and that we actively try to understand each other’s points of view. Innovation ensures that we proactively try to improve ourselves, each other and our products. Having a positive attitude enables us to be passionate and enthusiastic about the things we do. We think in solutions instead of problems. Lastly, having a shared mission means that we all work towards the same goal: making an impact on ourselves and on the people around us!”

A regular week at AIESEC in Tilburg consists of two Wednesday evening meetings: one with your team and one with the whole local committee followed by having some drinks together. These meetings cover a variety of topics: trainings about soft and hard skills, brainstorming about our strategies, inspiring workshops from organizations working with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), etc. Besides these meetings, we flexibly plan our work for AIESEC around our education and/or side jobs. In addition to the functional part, AIESEC in Amsterdam is also a community. We organize fun activities to make sure we get to know each other not just functionally, but also personally. Altogether, a week at AIESEC in Tilburg is full of opportunities to grow yourself and enjoy being part of a community, as long as you take on a proactive attitude!

AIESEC in

Tilburg

AIESEC in Tilburg is an LC which was always tight knit and united. We are a smaller group of 24 members, with 5 members of the EB and 19 part time members. This size allows us all to see each other more as friends than coworkers and really be a part of each others lives.

Every Wednesday we meet at the Ruby’s Irish Pub in the city centre for our Local Committee Meeting, where we hang out, have fun workshops and guest lectures. Besides this, we often host InHouse days, events and trainings with our partners and other associations.

Every year we also go for an LC Holiday to another country and host an amazing reception weekend in Efteling. With this, being a part of our LC is both rewarding and fun!
