Abstract:

An overview on “Responsible AI” is given in this welcome remark to kick off the track.

The responsible AI is not easy to implement like many other science and technology issues. I give two examples: responsible nuclear science and technology including nuclear power systems, and  responsible automobile systems. Then, I show Korean cases; the ethics classes in computer science and AI governance conferences. I compare the histories of AI development and the Internet development in Korea next. Finally, I would like to mention on the AI ecosystem.  An healthy AI ecosystem may be the ultimate goal of the responsible AI.
