History of Pocket Pantry Program

Started in 2019 by Student Assistance Services to combat food insecurity affecting students on campus

Started out with 6 pantries located across main campus

Has since grown to having pantries across Main and West Campuses.

Funding

  • The Pocket Pantry program is funded through donations made to combat food insecurity on campus.
  • The program also receives donations through Aggie Moms’ Clubs to help supplement our busier locations across campus.
  • Common items needed:
    • Toiletry items (including feminine products)
    • Microwave meals
    • Pasta, rice and beans
